been turned on the synchronisation channel can be

After one minute the SCOLA CLASSMATE starts to
sendoutthechannelsynchronisationsignalThissig-
nalwillberepeatedtimespersecondandwillsetall
SCOLA FLEX or Amigo ear-level FM receivers within
rangetotheprogrammedchannel
Therangeofthesignalisapproximatelym
SCOLACLASSMATEispoweredbytheexternalpower
supplyHoweveraninternalrechargeableback-upbat-
terywillsupplyuninterruptedpowertotheunitfor
hoursifthemainspoweriscutoff(forexampleifthe
walloutletisneededforanotherpurpose)
Theback-upbatteryiscontinuouslychargedwhenthe
power supply is connected to the mains When con-
nectedthefirsttimeitwilltakeabouthoursbefore
thebatteryisfullycharged
